Welcome to the central resource for marketers using the Amadora MCP server! This guide will help you connect Amadora AI directly to your AI assistants, allowing you to plan, measure, and grow your AI-search visibility right from your chat.

What is Amadora AI MCP?

Connect AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible tools directly to your Amadora AI data. Instead of clicking around a dashboard, just ask questions in plain language and get live numbers, citations, and content gap recommendations. The absolute easiest and most powerful way to use Amadora is through Claude Cowork. It comes pre-packaged with our official plugin, ready-made skills, and a polished UI designed specifically for marketers.

How to Install the Amadora Plugin in Claude:

  1. Download plugin from Amadora AI
  2. Open Claude Cowork on your desktop.
  3. Go to Customize > Click + > Create Plugin > Upload Plugin
  4. Authenticate: Claude will prompt you to sign in. Log in using your Amadora AI account credentials. (The window will close automatically once connected).
  5. Verify the connection: Open any chat and type:
“List my Amadora projects.” If you see a table with your tracked brands, you are successfully connected!

Using Built-in Commands (Slash Commands)

Once installed, the Amadora plugin unlocks powerful slash commands inside Claude Cowork:
  • /report - Instantly generates a weekly visibility snapshot with sparklines and topic breakdowns.
  • /content - Builds a quarterly content plan with auto-generated briefs based on actual AI search queries.
  • /mentions - Creates ready-to-use CSV outreach lists of third-party domains citing your space.
  • /trend - Generates a multi-week visibility heatmap as an Excel workbook.

2. Setup for Other Platforms (Claude Desktop, Cursor, ChatGPT)

If you are using a generic MCP client, you can connect manually using your API credentials.
  1. Go to app.amadora.ai → Settings → MCP / API.
  2. Copy your Server URL and API Token.
  3. Add the custom connection to your tool:
    • Claude Desktop: Go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the URL and token, then restart.
    • Cursor: Edit your mcp.json, add an httpStreamable entry pointing to your URL, and include the header: "Authorization": "Bearer <token>". Restart Cursor.
    • ChatGPT Desktop: Go to Settings → Connectors → Add MCP server. Paste the URL and token, then restart.
  4. Verify the connection: Ask your assistant to “Run the Amadora health check.”

3. Core Features & What You Can Do

Taking Action (Live Feature)

The Optimization Plan Engine is now live and fully available! You can directly generate structured recommendation sets for any prompt or topic. It will tell you exactly which content gaps to close, providing opportunity-scored recommendations and clear action items so you can start optimizing immediately.

See Where You Stand

  • Check Brand Visibility: Track your performance across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and Claude.
  • Compare Competitors: Instantly measure Share of Voice (SOV), Average Position, and Visibility Score.

Find Content Gaps

  • Understand AI Search Queries: See the exact search queries AI engines run when researching your industry (query fan-out).
  • Analyze Citations: Find exactly which third-party domains and URLs are being cited so you know where to pitch your brand.

Manage Your Prompts

  • You can add, update, or delete tracked prompts, topics, and tags directly from the chat interface.

4. Easy Copy-Paste Prompts to Try Now

Just copy these into your connected AI assistant (replace [Project Name] with your brand):
  • Weekly Snapshot: “Run a one-paragraph visibility snapshot on [Project Name] for the last 7 days. Include visibility, SOV, average position, and week-over-week deltas.”
  • Competitor Watch: “Compare share-of-voice for tracked competitors on [Project Name] between this week and last week. Who gained the most?”
  • Outreach Target List: “Give me the top 25 third-party domains that AI cites when answering [Project Name]‘s tracked prompts in the last 30 days, where our brand is NOT mentioned.”
  • Content Planning: “Pull the search queries AI ran for our 5 lowest-visibility prompts on [Project Name] last week. Dedupe and group by intent.”
