* **100 Prompts:** \$159/month
### How to Enable
1. Go to your **Billing** page in Amadora.
2. Add the **Claude Add-on**.
3. Your prompts will start tracking automatically on the next weekly run.
**Amadora AI Agent & GSC Integration**
We’re excited to introduce the **Amadora AI Agent** along with a deep **Google Search Console (GSC)** integration to give you complete visibility across both AI search and traditional organic search.
### The Amadora AI Agent
Powered by **ChatGPT 5.6**, the Agent sits directly on top of your project data to analyze metrics, build deliverables, and answer complex questions without manual exports.
* **Custom Deliverables:** Instantly generate action plans, summarize citations, or pull custom visibility reports.
* **Prompt Management:** Automatically identify topical gaps, generate new prompt sets, and clean up duplicates.
* **Unified Analysis:** Compare AI search visibility directly against organic Google search data.
### Google Search Console (GSC) Integration
Connecting GSC unlocks 7 built-in analysis skills inside the Agent:
* **Performance Overview & Movers:** Track site-wide KPI trends and pinpoint your biggest winning or dropping queries and pages.
* **CTR Opportunities & Cannibalization:** Surface under-clicking pages based on custom expected CTR curves and identify internal keyword conflicts.
* **Entity Details & URL Inspection:** Run granular query/page breakdowns and check live URL indexing status and errors.
* **Full Report:** Generate a complete organic search brief in a single query.
### Getting Started
1. Connect your account in **Brand Settings → Connections** and select your GSC property.
2. Open the **Agent** tab in the top-left corner of your project and ask your first question.
**Google AI Search tracking is live now**
Google doesn't just show blue links anymore. For most searches, an AI Overview now sits right at the top—and that answer decides who gets seen.
you can rank #1 organically and still be completely absent from the AI Overview sitting above you.
To bridge this gap, we've built **Google AI Search**. You can now track both sides of Google in one place, eliminating the need to bolt a second tool onto your existing rank tracker.
### What's included
1. **Unified Tracking:** Monitor your classic rankings (where you sit in the organic top 10) directly alongside your AI Overview visibility.
2. **Brand & Citation Monitoring:** See exactly whether Google's AI *mentions* your brand and actually *cites* your site as a source.
3. **Automated Gap Insights:** Stop guessing. Amadora now highlights your exact missed opportunities, acting as an automated to-do list.
You can also now connect **Google Search Console** directly in there.
Every account now comes with **5 keywords free**. It takes about two minutes to add your core search terms and see exactly where you stand.
**New: Topical Map**
Finding prompts to track shouldn't be guesswork.
Topical Map helps you discover, validate, and prioritize the topics and prompts that matter most to your business.
Build a structured hierarchy of Pillars → Topics → Prompts, then validate opportunities using Google Search Console data, competitor research, and your own keyword lists.
### What's included
* Generate a complete topical map from your business context
* Prioritize topics based on commercial intent
* Validate opportunities with real search demand
* View keyword clusters with search volume, CPC, and difficulty
* Explore topic, keyword, and context views
* Export your map as CSV
* Push high-priority prompts directly into tracking
### Why it matters
Most teams start AI Search optimization by brainstorming prompts.
Topical Map helps you focus on prompts backed by buyer intent and search demand, making it easier to identify opportunities that can drive visibility, leads, and revenue.
Available now in all projects under **Topical Map**.
**New: Weekly Report 📊**
See your AI visibility as a trend, not a snapshot. The Weekly Report lays out every topic and prompt as a week-by-week heatmap — green where you're showing up in AI answers, red where you're not — with a delta column that shows how many points your visibility moved over the period.
* Choose a 4, 8, 12, or 24-week window
* Filter by topic, tag, location, and platform
* Delta column surfaces your biggest gains and drops at a glance
* Built for proving ROI over time and for client-ready reporting
Available now in your account.
**The Amadora MCP & Plugin for Claude Cowork.**
We’ve officially launched the **Amadora plugin for Claude Cowork**.
Instead of manually scraping data and building reports, you can now generate heavy-hitting AI-search deliverables directly inside your Claude workspace.
Here are the 4 new skills now at your disposal:
* **Weekly Visibility Snapshots:** Instantly generate styled, in-chat widgets tracking your Share of Voice across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AIO.
* **Multi-Week Trend Reports:** Export presentation-ready workbooks with heatmaps (4 to 24 weeks)—perfect for dropping right into client QBRs.
* **AI-Citation Content Planner:** Let Claude rank your top opportunities and write `.md` briefs based on actual query fan-out data.
* **Authority Building Lists:** Generate actionable CSVs of listicles, podcasts, and editorial pubs where your brand is currently missing.
**AI Visibility Audits. Pitch-Ready in Minutes for Agencies.**
We just shipped one of the biggest things we've ever built — a full **AI Visibility Audit** that any agency can run on a client (or a prospect) end-to-end, and hand back as a polished, white-label report.
**Here's all:**
1. **One-Click, 10-Section Audit** Pick any domain and up to 4 competitors — we run the prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, then deliver a full report covering the AI Visibility Score, Reality Check (raw AI answers for real buyer queries), Perception & Trust, Visibility by Topic mapped to the funnel, Competitor Comparison, and Sources & Citations.
2. **Built-in Action Plan** Every gap is written up as **Finding → Root Cause → Business Impact**, then rolled into a phased **90-Day Roadmap** (Foundation → Expansion → Authority) with a CRITICAL/HIGH/MEDIUM priority matrix — basically a pre-built SOW you can hand to the client.
3. **White-Label & Pitch-Ready** Every audit ships as a clean, branded report you can send to a client, walk through on a pitch call, or attach to a proposal — no rebuilding it in Figma at 11 PM.
**Where to find it:** Head to the **Audits** tab in your dashboard and hit **New Audit**.
(Pro Tip: Run the audit on a *prospect* before the discovery call. Open the meeting with their Reality Check, walk them through the Roadmap, and convert the audit into the retainer.)
**Bulk Prompts, Saved Filters & Crawler Upgrades**
1. **Bulk Import & Export Prompts** You can bulk-import prompts via CSV, automatically mapping details like **Topic**, **Tags**, and **Location**.
Additionally, you can now export your prompt table with all available data for external analysis.
2. **Share Dashboards with Saved Filters** When sharing your Amadora dashboard from the overview section, you can now toggle Include current filters in link.
This generates a public, read-only link that preserves the exact filters you’ve set up.
3. **Improved Brand Mention Recognition** We’ve upgraded our crawlers to better navigate website protections. This fixes an issue where some pages appeared to have no mentions, ensuring much more accurate brand parsing in AI citations.
4. **Updated Citation Content Tagging** We’ve simplified and updated how we classify web pages and AI citations. Updated data will appear in your account within the next few days.
**Brand Mentions & Competitive Visibility**
We’ve added Brand Mention Analysis so you can see under the hood and track how your brand is discussed across the specific data sources LLMs use.
**What's New:**
Head over to the **Sources and Citations** section and go to **Brand Presence in Citations** and toggle to the **Competitors** tab to find three new metrics:
* **Mentions:** The number of unique, AI-cited documents that mention your brand.
* **Owned Mentions:** A breakdown of how many documents were published by *you* versus external sources.
* **Citation Impact:** How many times those specific documents were actually used as a citation in an AI response.
(Pro Tip: Use our filters to slice this data by Topic, Region, Language, or LLM—like GPT-4 or Claude—to see how your reputation shifts across different models.)
**Prompt Tagging is live!!**
We just rolled out a way to make your analytics way more precise. You can now add tags to your prompts to keep everything organized and easy to track.
**Why use it?**
* **Map the Funnel:** Tag prompts as *Awareness*, *Consideration*, or *Decision* stage.
* **Segment by ICP:** Mark which prompts belong to which customer profile.
* **Filter Everything:** You can now filter your entire dashboard and all your graphs by these tags.
**Where to find it:** Head over to your prompt list to start tagging, or manage your full list in **Brand Preferences**.
**Brand Citation & Gap Analysis**
You can now track exactly where your brand is mentioned—and where you’re missing out—within the specific URLs that AI models cite.
Here’s all:
**Real-Time Mention Detection:** The URLs list now features a **"Mentioned"** column. We automatically scan cited documents to verify if your brand is explicitly named, instantly validating if a source actively boosts your visibility.
**Gap Analysis Filter:** Toggle this filter to hide URLs that already mention you. This leaves only the trusted sources that AI cites but where your brand is missing—perfect targets for targeted outreach.
**Competitor Benchmarking:** Filter cited URLs by the rivals in your Competitor Tab. Seeing exactly which third-party sites mention them helps you determine the authority threshold needed to trigger your own AI recommendations.
**Brand Presence Metrics:** The analytics dashboard now shows your **Mention Share**, total **Brand Mentions**, and visual **Progress Tracking** to tie campaigns directly to increased AI visibility.
**More Engines. More Control. No Plan-Hopping.**
We just pushed a significant update to the Amadora AI to give you more flexibility in how you track your brand’s presence across the AI-verse.
**Here’s the Updates:**
* **The “Big Three” are now Default:** Every prompt now automatically tracks across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini\*\*.\*\*
* **New Engine Add-ons:** Need to see what’s happening on Microsoft Copilot, Grok, or Google AI Mode? You can now add these (plus Google AI Overview) as custom add-ons starting at just \$9/mo.
* **Granular LLM Selection:** You can now toggle specific LLMs for individual prompts. Since users ask things differently on ChatGPT vs. Google AI Overview, your tracking should be just as specific.
* **Scale Without the Upgrade:** Hit your limit? You no longer have to jump to a whole new plan. We’ve added “Prompt Grades”—for example, if you’re on the **Starter Plan**, you can now toggle between 15 or 50 prompts instantly.
**Amadora Credits are live!**
We’ve officially rolled out the **Credits system** to give everyone better control over their AI workflows. You’ll notice a new “Credits” tab in your dashboard where you can track your usage in real-time.
**The Quick Breakdown:**
* **Starter Plan:** 300 credits/mo
* **Professional:** 1,000 credits/mo
* **Agency:** 3,000 credits/mo *(Annual plans get a massive credit boost!)*
**What does it cost to run actions?**
* **100 credits:** AI search optimization plan (per prompt).
* **50 credits:** LLM Brand snapshot (coming soon).
**Cool extras:**
* **Rollover:** Monthly unused credits now carry over (max 2x your plan limit).
* **Auto Top-Up:** You can now toggle “Auto Top-Up” to ensure your workflows never pause when the balance gets low.
* **Pre-execution visibility:** You’ll see the cost *before* you hit “run.”
**Need more?** One-time packs are available starting at 200 credits for \$49.
**Better Data, Deeper Insights: The Latest Amadora AI Update**
Our latest deployment focuses on giving you more granular control over your AI Overview data and smoothing out your workflow\..
**Connect Sources to Prompts:** We added a “Prompts” column to the *Domains / URLs* table. You can now correlate specific URLs directly to the prompts that surfaced them, giving you a clearer view of the “Why” behind the citation.
**Precision Tagging:** We fixed citation errors and refined our content types.
* YouTube = Video
* Reddit/LinkedIn = Post
* Unknowns resolved to Landing Pages, Product Pages, etc.
**Agency-Grade Utility:**
* **Search:** Quickly filter through domains/URLs in the Sources tab.
* **Exports:** Improved CSV handling for massive datasets.
* **UI/UX:** Added pagination to the Competitors table and shipped 10+ interface improvements.
**Complete Team Management is here!**
We’ve just rolled out the **Teammates** page to give you full control over your workspace.
Here’s what’s new:
* **Invite & Manage:** Easily add new teammates or remove users in a few clicks.
* **Granular Roles:**
* **Admin:** Full access to everything.
* **Editor:** Can edit projects/content but can’t manage users.
* **Viewer:** Read-only access for stakeholders.
* **Project Control:** Assign users to specific brands (or “All Projects”) to keep workflows organized.
**The “Agency & Brand” Update**
We’ve just rolled out two of our most requested features to make managing multiple projects a breeze.
**The Brand Kit** You can now set up a permanent “Identity Profile” for every brand.
* Fill in your Brand Name, ICPs, Website, and Keywords once.
* Amadora AI uses this data to power your **Cluster/Topic extraction** (and soon, your Search Optimization plans!).
* *Admin Note:* Deleting a brand is permanent and requires a “confirm name” popup—no accidental clicks!
**Agency Dashboard** Tired of clicking through menus?
* Select **“All Projects”** from the dropdown to see your entire workspace.
* Track executions and prompts across all your brands in one list.
* Invite team members or share the dashboard link in a tap.
**We’ve switched to Real UI Tracing**
We have made a major infrastructure shift at Amadora AI. We are now switching all prompt tracing to scrape **real AI replies**—the exact same answers users see in the chatbot UIs—rather than relying on APIs.
**Why this matters for your AISO:**
* **True Accuracy:** Real UI replies are up to **50% different** from API-generated answers. Now you see exactly what the user sees.
* **More Data:** UI replies typically contain **2x more citation sources** and **1.5x query fan-outs**. This means significantly more data for your optimization strategy.
* **New Platforms:** We can now track **Gemini, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, and Grok.**
**Rolled out Trend Indicators**
To help you understand not just *how* you are performing, but *where* you are heading, we’ve rolled out Trend Indicators.
Now, you can instantly track performance changes compared to previous periods across your most critical metrics:
* Visibility Score
* Share of Voice
* Average Position
* Citation Counts
Green arrows mean growth. Red arrows mean it’s time to optimize.
Hover over the metrics for a deep dive into the absolute values and dates. This is just the first of several updates we are shipping this month to give you clearer insights.
**New Platform Updates: Trends, Sharing, and Speed!**
We’ve just rolled out a few exciting updates to make your data tracking even more powerful:
* **Advanced Trends & Graphs:** You can now visualize key metrics with daily, weekly, or monthly aggregations. Best of all? You can compare your brand’s performance directly against competitors and expand graphs to full-screen for a deeper look.
* **Client Dashboard Sharing:** Share your hard work effortlessly. Generate a read-only link from the top right corner so your clients can view dashboards and apply their own filters.
* **Faster Performance:** We’ve optimized the platform so your data now loads in seconds (or even faster!)
**Daily Tracking & Improved Brand Accuracy**
We’ve just rolled out two key updates to give you more reliable data:
* **Daily Prompt Runs:** We’ve moved from weekly to **daily prompt tracking**. Because LLM responses can vary significantly minute-to-minute, daily runs help smooth out fluctuations and provide much more accurate trend data.
* **Smarter Brand Analysis:** We’ve overhauled how we identify competitors. Using a new multi-step “prompt cascade,” the system is now much better at filtering out duplicate brands and ensuring every company is linked to its correct official website.
**Benchmark your brand: Competitor tracking is here!**
We just dropped a big update to help you see exactly how you stack up against the competition.
You can now discover rival brands, mark them as “Competitors,” and track them against your own metrics – like **Share of Voice** and **Visibility Score.**
**How to set it up:**
1. Head to the **Competitors** tab in the left menu.
2. Add the brands you want to track.
3. Toggle between **“All Brands”** and **“Competitors”** on your dashboard to see the comparison.
**Bulk Exports, Date Filters, and more!**
We’ve been shipping features faster than I can write these posts, but I’m excited to officially kick off our first-ever product update.
Here’s what’s new this week:
* **Full CSV Exports:** You can now export all table data—including links, domains, and competitor lists — for deeper analysis in your own tools.
* **Custom Date Ranges:** No more “all or nothing” views. Zoom in on the specific period you need for your reports.
* **Smarter Filters:** We’ve added clear visual indicators so you’ll know exactly which filters are active at a glance.
# AI Search Visibility Audit
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/ai-search-visibility-audit
## What is the AI Search Visibility Audit?
The AI Search Visibility Audit is a ready-to-present report that shows how a brand appears — or doesn't — when buyers ask AI tools for recommendations. It tests a brand across the major AI search surfaces, compares it to competitors, and turns the results into a prospect-ready deliverable you can walk a CEO through in 15 minutes. It's built to create an "aha moment," explain *why* AI behaves the way it does toward the brand, and set up a clear path to fix it.
Every audit answers six questions in order:
1. Are they visible where their buyers actually search?
2. What does AI actually think their brand is, and does it trust them?
3. Where are they visible vs. invisible across buyer topics?
4. Who is winning AI recommendations in their category?
5. Where does AI get its picture of this category from?
6. What should they fix, and in what order?
### What you get
Every audit is delivered in two formats, both **fully branded with your agency logo and name**:
* **Interactive, shareable HTML report** — a link you can share with the prospect for live walkthroughs or self-guided reading.
* **Editable DOC version** — a downloadable document you can open, edit, and re-export before sending.
The report ends with an **editable CTA block** — customise the headline, body copy, button label, and calendar link for each prospect or account.
## How we generate the audit
### What you provide
* **Brand name**
* **Website URL**
* **Region** — so we match the AI responses to the market the brand sells into
That's it. Amadora handles competitor detection, query generation, testing, and report assembly.
### What gets tested
* **12 prompts per audit** — split across 4 categories, covering both **branded** queries (where the brand name is in the prompt) and **non-branded** queries (category, use-case, and comparison prompts where buyers are exploring without naming a brand).
* **3 AI platforms** — ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
* **12 × 3 = 36 AI responses per audit**, each captured with its full set of citations.
* **Real UI scraping, not API calls** — we capture exactly what a buyer would see in the AI chat interface, including citations and recommended sources. This matters because API responses often differ from what real users experience.
### What's measured
For every response we capture: whether the brand appeared, its position in the recommendation list, which competitors were mentioned, whether AI described the brand accurately, and which domains and URLs AI cited. These raw signals feed every metric and every chart in the report.
## What's in each section
### 1. Cover + Brand Snapshot
The personalised opener: prospect's logo, company name, audit date, and a one-liner framing the report as *"How \[Brand] appears when your customers ask AI for recommendations."* Sets the tone that this is about *their* brand, not a generic whitepaper.
### 2. Executive Summary + Key AI Search Metrics
The 30-second diagnosis: Visibility Score cards per AI platform plus a three-row table with Visibility Score, Share of Voice, and Average Position. Each metric comes with a diagnostic "What This Means" conclusion generated from a severity matrix, so the CEO understands the problem before reading a single AI quote. Includes three short headline findings at the bottom.
### 3. The Reality Check
Two or three actual AI responses shown as quote blocks — the ones where the brand is missing, misdescribed, or listed last while competitors are first. This is the emotional hook. No tables, no analysis — just the evidence in AI's own words.
### 4. AI Brand Perception & Trust
Explains *why* AI behaves this way toward the brand. Four blocks: (a) an Identity Gap table comparing what the brand says about itself vs. what AI says about it, (b) an AI Trust Signal rating (Weak / Mixed / Strong) backed by five trust factors, (c) an Ecosystem Consistency scan across LinkedIn, G2, Crunchbase, and other owned profiles, (d) a "when AI recommends vs. doesn't" pattern analysis. This is where the deal typically starts closing.
### 5. AI Visibility by Topic
Evidence in one table: four rows (one per buyer-journey cluster) showing exact Visibility percentage, Competitor Gap, Brand Accuracy, and a one-line Key Finding per cluster. Proves the audit is real and surfaces which part of the funnel is most broken. A narrative interpretation below the table connects the pattern to commercial impact.
### 6. Competitor Comparison
A side-by-side qualitative table showing the prospect against their top competitors across six dimensions — category visibility, use-case visibility, comparison presence, source footprint, brand clarity, and overall AI advantage. Paired with 2–3 interpretive callouts (the "discoverability gap, not awareness gap" framing closes deals). This is the jealousy page — seeing a named competitor winning is different from seeing an abstract score.
### 7. Sources & Citations
Two donut charts — Domain Types (corporate, commercial, news, social, editorial, community, informational) and Citation Types (blog article, website page, directory, listicle, news, wiki page, social media post, community thread, video) — followed by a tabbed table of the top domains and URLs AI cited. Shows where AI pulls its answers from in this category, at a market level. Sets up the fixes by revealing which source types carry the most weight (owned content, listicles, directories, editorial).
### 8. Key Issues & Root Causes
Three specific findings, each tagged Critical / High / Medium, with a root cause and a business impact line. Moves the conversation from "what's wrong" to "why it's wrong and what it's costing you" — and proves the agency understands the mechanism, not just the symptoms.
### 9. Opportunities & Roadmap
Quick Wins (Weeks 1–2) plus a prioritised opportunity matrix with Priority and Likely Impact columns. Gives away enough *what* that the prospect feels the audit was genuinely useful, but leaves the *how* for the retainer engagement.
### 10. Next Steps (editable CTA block)
A short paragraph on urgency (AI search is moving fast — the window is narrowing), a three-step engagement outline (strategy session → implementation → ongoing monitoring), and an **editable CTA block** with your agency's contact info and calendar link. Customise the headline, body copy, button label, and link per prospect or account to close the loop without feeling like a pitch.
## Using the audit for prospect demos
The audit is built to be a sales tool first. A few tactical notes:
**Before the call.** Run the audit 1–2 days ahead. Skim the Executive Summary and Reality Check to pick the single most damaging finding — this becomes your opening beat. Check Section 4's Ecosystem Consistency table for a "free quick win" you can hand the prospect on the call; it builds enormous goodwill.
**Opening (cold prospect, no demo booked).** Send the DOC or HTML link as a cold lead magnet with a two-line email: "Ran an AI search audit on \[Brand]. You appear in only \[X]% of responses where your buyers are asking. Happy to walk you through it — here's my calendar." The report does the heavy lifting; your only job is to offer the walkthrough.
**The 15-minute live walkthrough.** Follow the flow in the report. Cover + Metrics (1.5 min) → Reality Check (2 min) → Perception & Trust (3 min) → Visibility by Topic (2 min) → Competitors (2 min) → Sources & Citations (1.5 min) → Key Issues (1.5 min) → Roadmap (2 min) → Next Steps (1 min). Let the Reality Check page breathe — don't narrate it, let them read it. The deal usually starts closing during Section 4.
**Common objections and where to go.**
* "We already rank well on Google." → Section 3 + Section 6. Google SEO ≠ AI search. Show them a competitor winning in AI while they win in Google.
* "Is AI search really big enough to matter?" → Section 10's urgency paragraph plus the trust-signal compounding story from Section 4.
* "Can't we just fix this ourselves?" → Section 9. The quick wins are gift-wrapped; the strategic fixes (comparison pages, source footprint, structured data) require execution they don't have.
**The close.** Don't pitch a package. Offer the Deep-dive Strategy Session (Step 1 in Section 10) as the next natural step. It's a low-commitment yes that starts the retainer conversation. Use the editable CTA block to tailor the exact next-step ask per prospect.
## Using the audit to expand current accounts
The audit isn't just for new logos — it's a powerful tool for scoping new workstreams inside existing accounts.
**Quarterly re-audit rhythm.** Run a fresh audit every quarter for each retained client and walk them through it as part of the QBR. The Visibility Score delta (up or down) is the single most powerful metric you can show a client — it proves the retainer is working and surfaces new gaps as AI models evolve.
**Use deltas to land new scope.** Watch the quarter-over-quarter changes. If Section 5's Category discovery cluster has gotten worse, that's a new content workstream. If Section 4's Trust Signal has dropped from Mixed to Weak, that's a PR and review-platform push. If Section 7's Sources & Citations shows competitors being cited on a new set of listicles, that's an outreach sprint. Every delta is a scoping opportunity.
**Use it to onboard new stakeholders.** When a client hires a new CMO or Head of Growth, the audit is the fastest way to get them up to speed on the engagement. Send the HTML link on day one — it briefs them on the AI visibility baseline, the plan, and the progress so far in one sitting.
## FAQ
**How long does an audit take to generate?** \
Most audits complete in 30–60 minutes end-to-end once the brand and region are submitted.
**How often should I re-run an audit?** \
For active retainers, quarterly. For monitoring-only accounts, every 2–3 months. AI models update frequently and scores shift.
**Can I test more than 12 prompts or add more AI platforms?** \
The default of 12 prompts × 3 platforms = 36 responses is tuned for turnaround time and reliability. Larger or custom scopes are possible for enterprise accounts — reach out to Amadora.
**Does the audit handle brands without a clear category?** \
It works best when the brand fits a recognisable category. For very novel products, the category-level prompts may show low visibility simply because the category doesn't exist yet in AI's model — use the use-case cluster as the primary signal instead.
**Can I white-label the report for my agency?** \
Yes. Both the interactive HTML report and the editable DOC version are fully branded with your agency's logo and name, and the CTA block at the end is fully editable per prospect or account.
# Amadora AI Claude Cowork Plugin
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/amadora-claude-cowork-plugin
The Amadora plugin turns Claude Cowork into an AI-search analyst sitting next to you. It connects Claude to your Amadora account, then layers four ready-made skills on top — so you can ship weekly visibility reports, multi-week trend decks for clients, AI-citation content briefs, and outreach lists for link-building, all by typing a single command.
This guide walks you through installing the plugin, gives a short overview of the underlying Amadora MCP, and explains what each skill does, when to reach for it, and what you actually get out.
## What's in the plugin
The plugin bundles two things:
* **The Amadora MCP** — a read-only connector that lets Claude query your Amadora account (projects, prompts, citations, competitors, audits, optimization plans).
* **Four skills** — opinionated workflows that combine MCP data with templates, widgets, and file outputs:
| Skill | Command | Output | Use it when |
| ------------ | ----------- | ---------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Report** | `/report` | Inline widget in chat | You want a weekly snapshot of how a brand is doing in AI answers. |
| **Trend** | `/trend` | `.xlsx` in workspace | You need a client-ready deck/report showing visibility movement over weeks. |
| **Content** | `/content` | Folder of `.md` briefs | You're planning content to get cited by ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, or Google AI Overviews. |
| **Mentions** | `/mentions` | One CSV per category | You need an outreach or link-building list — listicles, directories, podcasts, communities, etc. |
## Installation
The plugin ships as a single `.plugin` file. To install it in Claude Cowork:
1. [Download plugin](https://app.amadora.ai/dashboard/integrations/claude) from Amadora AI
2. Open Claude Cowork.
3. Go to **Customize > Click + > Create Plugin** **> Upload Plugin**
4. Click Upload Plugin > Upload the `amadora-ai.zip` file.
5. When prompted, **authorize the Amadora MCP** by signing in with your Amadora account. This is a one-time OAuth flow — Claude only ever reads your Amadora data, never writes.
6. Confirm the plugin is enabled. You should now see the four commands (`/report`, `/trend`, `/content`, `/mentions`) available in any Cowork session.\\
**Tip:** If you manage multiple Amadora accounts (e.g. an agency with several client workspaces), the plugin will use whichever account you authorized. To switch, disconnect and re-authorize from the plugin settings.
## The Amadora MCP & what it gives Claude
The MCP (Model Context Protocol connector) is the data layer underneath every skill. It's a read-only window into your Amadora workspace that exposes the same things you see in the Amadora UI:
* **Projects** — one per monitored brand or site.
* **Prompts** — the tracked questions you want to show up in AI answers for.
* **Citations** — every URL AI engines linked to in their answers, with site type, page type, domain, and ownership flags.
* **Competitors** — brands appearing in the same AI answers, with share-of-voice, visibility, and mention position.
* **Audits and optimization plans** — Amadora's pre-built reports and AI-generated improvement plans.
The four skills do the heavy lifting — picking the right tools, applying the right filters, formatting the output. You usually don't need to think about the MCP directly. But if you ever want to ask Claude a one-off question in plain English (e.g. *"Which prompts did Amadora lose visibility on this week?"*), the MCP makes that possible too.
The MCP defaults to a **rolling 7-day window** whenever a date isn't specified, which matches Amadora's own dashboards.
## Skill: `/report` & Weekly AI Visibility Report
### What it does
Generates a structured weekly visibility report for one of your brands and renders it **inline in chat** as a single HTML widget. No file is saved — it's designed for at-a-glance status checks, standups, and client updates you can screenshot.
The widget covers four sections:
1. **Three headline KPIs** — visibility score, share of voice, and average mention position, each with the week-over-week delta.
2. **Visibility by AI platform** — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, broken out with WoW arrows.
3. **Visibility by topic** — each tracked topic with its current score and week-over-week movement.
4. **AI Citations and Mentions** — count of owned AI citations and brand mentions, each with a 30-day sparkline.
### When to use it
* **Monday-morning status checks** — see whether the brand moved up or down across all platforms over the past week.
* **Client recap emails** — paste a screenshot of the widget straight into a weekly update.
* **Investigating a drop** — if a KPI is down, the per-platform and per-topic breakdowns tell you immediately where it happened.
* **Pre-meeting prep** — before a sync with stakeholders, run `/report [brand]` to walk in with fresh numbers.
### What you get
An inline widget in chat (cream-and-terracotta palette matching the Amadora brand) that's safe to screenshot and share. No `.xlsx` or `.md` file is created — this is the one skill that lives entirely in the conversation.
### Example invocations
* `/report` — Claude shows a project picker, you select one.
* `/report Amadora` — Skips the picker if the brand name uniquely matches a project.
* `"How is Ordemio doing in AI this week?"` — Natural language also triggers it.
## Skill: `/trend` — Multi-Week Visibility Trend Excel
### What it does
Builds a multi-week visibility trend report as a polished Excel workbook saved to your workspace folder. Designed as a **client deliverable that proves the work is moving the needle** — each row is a topic or prompt, each column is one ISO week, cells are colored on a red → yellow → green heatmap, and a delta column makes the headline number jump off the page.
Before the file is written, Claude also renders a **topic-level heatmap preview directly in chat** so you can sanity-check the numbers before opening Excel.
The workbook has three tabs:
* **Summary** — headline KPIs across the chosen period.
* **Topic Trend** — 5-10 topic rows with the heatmap, a delta column, and a multi-series line chart.
* **Prompt Detail** — every tracked prompt grouped under its topic, same week-by-week heatmap.
You can pick the time window: **4, 8, 12, or 24 weeks** (default 8).
### When to use it
* **Quarterly business reviews** — bring a single Excel that tells the whole story.
* **Renewal conversations** — "Here's how visibility moved on the topics you cared about over the last 12 weeks."
* **Internal performance reviews** — head of marketing wants to see whether the AI-search investment is paying off.
* **Investigating a long-term trend** — week-over-week is too noisy; trend reports show whether something is actually shifting.
### What you get
A single `.xlsx` saved to the connected workspace folder, named `{Project}_Visibility_Trend_{N}wk.xlsx` — for example:
* `Amadora_Visibility_Trend_8wk.xlsx`
* `NetReputation_Visibility_Trend_8wk.xlsx`
* `Ordemio_Visibility_Trend_8wk.xlsx`
(Real examples produced by this skill live in this very folder — open any of them to see exactly what the output looks like.)
### Example invocations
* `/trend` — Project picker + period picker.
* `/trend 12` — 12 weeks, with project picker.
* `/trend Amadora 24w` — 24-week trend for Amadora, no picker needed.
## Skill: `/content` — AI-Citation Content Planner
### What it does
Generates **content plans and per-prompt briefs** designed to get cited by AI engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews) — not to rank in classic Google SERPs.
The killer signal it uses is the **query fan-out**: the actual search queries the AI ran while composing its answers. Combined with the most-cited URLs and page types per prompt, this lets Claude write briefs that target **passage retrieval** — the way LLMs actually pick what to cite.
The skill runs in three interactive stages:
1. **Project diagnosis → Topic Priority Matrix.** Claude pulls your project, ranks topics by lowest owned citation share (i.e. biggest opportunity), and shows them in an interactive widget. You tick the 1-3 topics you want to go deeper on.
2. **Topic analysis + suggested articles.** For each topic, Claude produces a 3-line overview plus a list of 8-15 suggested articles with checkboxes. You select which ones to brief.
3. **Brief generation.** Claude writes a numbered `.md` brief per selected article into a topic folder, plus an `00-OVERVIEW.md` that summarizes the plan.
### When to use it
* **Quarterly content planning** — figure out which topics deserve new content and what specifically to write.
* **AI search gap analysis** — you suspect competitors are getting cited more; this skill quantifies and prioritizes the gap.
* **Brief generation for freelance writers** — hand a writer a focused `.md` brief with the prompt, search queries, recommended page type, and key citations to reference.
* **Refreshing existing content** — briefs explicitly call out whether to publish new or refresh an existing page.
### What you get
A timestamped folder in your workspace, structured like this (a real example from this folder):
```text theme={null}
content-plan-2026-05-10/
├── 00-OVERVIEW.md
└── topic-1-general/
└── 01-profound-vs-otterly-vs-peec-vs-amadora.md
```
Each topic folder contains numbered `.md` briefs. The overview file gives you the plan-at-a-glance.
### Example invocations
* `/content` — Project picker, then interactive topic and article selection.
* `"Build me a content plan for Amadora targeting AI search"` — Natural language also works.
* `"What should I write to get cited by ChatGPT for [topic]?"` — Same skill.
## Skill: `/mentions` — AI Citation Outreach Lists
### What it does
Builds **outreach-ready lists** across seven source categories where AI engines are pulling citations from. The output is a set of CSV files an outreach team or contractor can execute against directly — no further synthesis needed.
The seven categories:
1. **Listicles & blog articles** — pulled straight from Amadora citations: every listicle AI engines cited where your brand is NOT mentioned and the URL is NOT owned. This is the highest-leverage list because the AI is already pulling from these pages.
2. **Review platforms** — vertical-specific review sites the brand should be on.
3. **Directories** — local, industry, and professional directories worth submitting to.
4. **Editorial publications** — niche media, trade blogs, and industry journals to pitch.
5. **Communities** — Reddit, Quora, Stack Exchange, and niche forums to participate in.
6. **Social media** — split into 6a (content posting) and 6b (guest pitching: podcasts, YouTube).
7. **Databases & knowledge sources** — split into 7a (self-serve), 7b (claim-based), 7c (earned/notability-gated), 7d (code-based).
For each category you pick, Claude produces a CSV with 3 decision-relevant columns per row (e.g. citation count, audience fit, members, cost flag) plus a 70-word in-chat findings summary.
### When to use it
* **Quarterly link-building / outreach planning** — get a fresh list of where to pitch, submit, and post.
* **AI-citation chasing** — listicles your competitors are in but you're not. This is workflow #1 and the most direct lever.
* **PR media list building** — editorial publications to pitch for the brand.
* **Founder content strategy** — which podcasts, YouTube channels, and communities the founder should show up on.
* **Database / directory hygiene** — making sure the brand is in every relevant Crunchbase-style source AI engines pull from.
### What you get
A timestamped folder with one CSV per category you selected. A real example from this folder:
```text theme={null}
mentions-amadora-2026-05-10/
├── 01-listicles-blog-articles.csv
├── 02-review-platforms.csv
├── 03-directories.csv
├── 06a-social-content.csv
├── 06b-podcasts-youtube.csv
├── 07a-databases-self-serve.csv
├── 07b-databases-claim-based.csv
├── 07c-databases-earned.csv
└── 07d-databases-code-based.csv
```
Each CSV is shaped for a non-technical outreach person to read top-to-bottom and execute.
### Example invocations
* `/mentions` — Project picker, then category picker, then CSVs.
* `"Build me a list of directories Amadora should be in"` — Natural language works.
* `"Which podcasts should we pitch for [brand]?"` — Triggers the social/podcast workflow.
## Tips for getting the most out of the plugin
A few patterns that work well in practice:
* **Run `/report` weekly, `/trend` monthly, `/content` and `/mentions` quarterly.** That cadence keeps the team's attention proportional to how often the underlying data actually changes.
* **Use natural language when you don't remember the command.** All four skills also trigger on plain-English phrasings — *"how is X doing in AI this week"*, *"build me a content plan"*, *"what directories should we be in"*.
* **Let Claude pick the project automatically when you can.** If you name the brand in the original message (e.g. `/trend Amadora 12w`), Claude skips the project picker entirely.
* **Trust the silent mode.** The skills are intentionally quiet — they fetch data, do their analysis, and only surface the finished output. If you don't see narration, that's by design.
* **Open the example outputs in this folder.** The `Amadora_Visibility_Trend_8wk.xlsx`, `content-plan-2026-05-10/`, and `mentions-amadora-2026-05-10/` directories show exactly what each skill produces — they're the fastest way to internalize the output shape before you run them yourself.
* **Combine skills.** A common workflow: run `/report` Monday to spot a topic that dropped, run `/content` later that day to plan the briefs to fix it, run `/mentions` the same week to chase the listicles you're missing from, then run `/trend` 8 weeks later to prove the work landed.
***
## Troubleshooting
* **"Claude can't find any projects."** The MCP isn't authorized, or it's authorized against a different Amadora account. Re-authorize from plugin settings.
* **The Excel didn't save.** Trend reports save to the connected workspace folder — make sure you started the Cowork session with a folder selected.
* **The widget didn't render.** Refresh the chat. If it still doesn't show, ask Claude to retry; the widget renderer occasionally needs a second pass.
* **The skill picked the wrong project.** Be more specific in the trigger message (`/report Amadora` instead of just `/report`), or use the picker to override.
* **Data looks stale.** Amadora refreshes on its own cadence; the MCP returns whatever is current in your account. If a recent prompt isn't showing, check the Amadora UI first.
For anything else, ask Claude — the assistant has full context on the plugin and can debug most issues in chat.
# Amadora AI Credits
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/amadora-credits
How credits work, what they cost, and how to manage your balance.
As of February 13, 2026, Amadora AI has moved to a flexible **Credit System**. This allows you to scale your optimization efforts on demand, without being locked into a higher subscription tier just to run a few extra reports.
This guide explains how credits are allocated, how they are consumed, and how to manage your balance.
### 1. Your Credit Balance
You can view your real-time balance by navigating to the **Credits** tab in your dashboard sidebar. Your total balance is made up of two types of credits:
* **Plan Credits:** These are the credits included with your monthly subscription (e.g., *300 credits/month*). These renew automatically on your billing date.
* **Top-Up Credits:** These are additional credits you purchase separately. They are added to your balance immediately and are used when you exceed your monthly allowance.
### 2. Credit Usage & Costs
Credits are the currency used to perform high-value actions within the platform.
* **Optimization Plans:** Creating a comprehensive Optimization Plan consumes **100 Credits** per plan.
* *Includes:* Deep-dive analysis, Ideal Model generation, and the full "Actions" roadmap.
> **Note:** Basic tracking and monitoring of your keywords do not consume credits; credits are only deducted when you generate new strategic assets.
### 3. Adding More Credits
If you run out of credits mid-month, you can instantly top up your balance without upgrading your entire subscription.
1. Go to the **Credits** page.
2. Click the **+ Add credits** button in the top right.
3. Select a one-time package:
* **200 Credits:** \$49
* **500 Credits:** \$99 (*Best Value for small teams*)
* **1,000 Credits:** \$189 (*Best Value for agencies*)
The payment is processed immediately, and credits are available for use instantly.
### 4. Auto Top-Up
To ensure your workflows are never interrupted—especially if you have scheduled optimizations running—you can enable **Auto Top-Up**.
* **How it works:** When your balance falls below a safe threshold, the system will automatically purchase your preferred credit package.
* **Enable/Disable:** You can toggle this setting **On** or **Off** directly from the main Credits dashboard or within the "Add credits" modal.
### 5. Transaction History
For full transparency, the **Transaction History** table at the bottom of the Credits page provides a detailed audit log of every credit movement.
* **Usage:** Shows exactly which project or plan consumed credits (e.g., *"-100 Credits: Optimization Plan created"*).
* **Renewals:** Shows when your monthly plan credits were added (e.g., *"+300 Credits: Plan renewed"*).
* **Purchases:** Shows manual or automatic top-ups.

# Key Metrics
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/amadora-metrics
Key metrics to measure your brand's AI visibility and competitive presence.
Amadora AI tracks your brand's real-time performance across AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
Instead of guessing how these models see you, we reverse-engineer their responses to generate four actionable scores:
* **Visibility Score:** How often you appear.
* **Share of Voice:** Your dominance compared to competitors.
* **Average Position:** Your ranking in recommendations.
* **Citation Share:** How frequently the AI links to your site.
Here is how to interpret these numbers on your dashboard.
## **1. Visibility Score**
> The percentage of conversations where your brand appears.
### What it is
The Visibility Score is your baseline metric for brand presence. It answers a simple yes/no question: When a user asks a relevant question, does the AI mention your brand at all?
### **How we calculate it**
We run your monitored prompts (questions) through AI engines. If your brand name appears in the text of the response, it counts as a "hit."
* **The Formula:**
```text theme={null}
(Total Responses Mentioning You ÷ Total AI Responses Generated) × 100.
```
* **Example:** If we run a prompt 10 times and you appear in 4 answers, your Visibility Score is **40%**.
### **Why it matters**
This is your foundational metric. You cannot get traffic or sales from AI if the model does not know you exist. A rising Visibility Score means the AI models are successfully retrieving your brand from their training data or live search results.
## **2. Share of Voice**
> Your dominance compared to the competition.
### What it is
Make sure to add **competitors** to really leverage this feature.
While *Visibility Score* looks at you in isolation, *Share of Voice* compares you to the rest of the market. It tells you how much of the conversation you own relative to other brands mentioned in the same answers.
### How we calculate it
We count every single brand mention in the answers—yours and your competitors'—to create a "Total Mentions" pool.
* **The Formula:**
```text theme={null}
(Your Mentions ÷ Total Mentions of ALL Brands) × 100.
```
* **The Example:** Let's say we find **200** total brand mentions in a week.
* **You** are mentioned 100 times.
* **Competitor A** is mentioned 75 times.
* **Competitor B** is mentioned 25 times.
* Your Share of Voice is **50%** (100 ÷ 200).
### Why it matters
This measures market dominance. You might have a decent Visibility Score (e.g., you appear often), but if your competitors are appearing *more* often or in the same answers, your Share of Voice will be lower.
## **3. Average Position**
> Where your brand ranks in the recommendation list.
### What it is
AI models often provide answers in a list format (e.g., "Top 5 CRM softwares"). The Average Position tracks exactly where you land on that list. Unlike other metrics, a **lower number is better** here.
### How we calculate it
We scan every list-based answer where your brand appears and record the numeric rank.
* **Rank 1:** You are the first recommendation (Best outcome).
* **Rank 5:** You are the fifth recommendation (Lower visibility).
* **The Calculation:** We average these rankings across all responses.
### Why it matters
* **Authority:** AI models typically list the most trusted or relevant solution first. A position closer to **1** signals high algorithmic authority.
* **Click-Through Rate:** Users are significantly more likely to read and click on the first two options. If your Average Position is dropping (e.g., moving from 2.0 to 4.5), you are losing here.
## 4. Citation Share
> The frequency of direct links to your website.
### What it is
Citation Share is arguably your most "actionable" metric for driving traffic. It measures how often the AI links directly to your website as a source of truth, rather than just mentioning your name.
### How we calculate it
We analyze the footnotes, "Learn More" sections, and embedded links in every AI answer.
* **The Metric:** The percentage of all citations in the generated answers that point specifically to your domain.
* **The Insight:** The dashboard allows you to see exactly which pages (URLs) are being cited, such as your product pages or blog posts.
### Why it matters
* **Direct Traffic:** A mention builds awareness, but a *citation* drives clicks.
* **Content Strategy:** If your Citation Share is low, it means the AI knows your brand name but is getting its information from third-party reviews or competitors rather than your own site. This signals a need to improve your website's technical structure for AI scraping.
# Getting started with Google AI Search
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/google-ai-search
Google AI Search shows you how your brand appears on Google now that Google answers with AI — across both the classic blue links and the AI Overview that sits on top of them.
## Quick start
Three steps to go from zero to live tracking:
1. **Add your keywords** — the search intents you want to monitor (you get 5 for free).
2. **Wait for the first run** — Amadora checks each keyword on Google on a recurring schedule and builds your baseline.
3. **Open the Overview** — read your visibility funnel and the gap insights, then drill into the Keywords view to act.
## Step 1 — Add your keywords
**What it is.** In Google AI Search you track *keywords* — short Google-style search intents like `mentoring software for mid-size companies`, not the long conversational prompts you'd type into a chatbot. Each keyword is re-checked on a schedule so your metrics stay current.
**Why it matters.** Your keyword set defines everything the feature measures. Choosing the right intents — the queries your buyers actually type — is what makes the visibility, mention, and citation numbers meaningful. Every account includes **5 keywords by default**, so start with your highest-value commercial intents.
There are three ways to add keywords. Use whichever fits how you already work — you can mix and match.
### Option A — Add keywords manually
**Best for:** a handful of known, high-priority queries you already have in mind.
**Benefit:** full control and instant setup — type exactly the intents you care about, no list required.
1. Open your project and go to **Google AI Search**.
2. Click **Add keywords** and choose the manual entry option.
3. Type one keyword (search phrase) per line.
4. Save. The keywords enter the queue and are checked on the next run.
### Option B — Pick keywords from the topical map
**Best for:** covering a whole topic thoroughly without brainstorming every phrase yourself.
**Benefit:** the topical map groups relevant search intents by theme, so you can see the full landscape around your product and select the ones worth tracking — fast coverage, fewer blind spots.
1. In **Add keywords**, open the **Topical map**.
2. Browse the suggested keywords, organized by topic.
3. Tick the intents you want to track (prioritize commercial and comparison queries).
4. Add the selected keywords to your project.
### Option C — Import keywords from a CSV file
**Best for:** bulk-loading an existing keyword list — for example, an export from your SEO tool or a list you maintain in a spreadsheet.
**Benefit:** add many keywords at once instead of typing them in, so migrating an existing research set takes seconds.
1. Prepare a CSV with one keyword per row (a single column of search phrases).
2. In **Add keywords**, choose **Import from CSV** and upload the file.
3. Review the parsed list and confirm.
4. The keywords are added and queued for the next run.
### Going beyond 5 keywords
To track more, activate the **keyword add-on** — pricing scales with the number of keywords and **starts at \$9/month for 15 keywords**. The add-on takes effect immediately, so you can expand into longer-tail and competitor-comparison queries whenever you're ready.
## Step 2 — Let the first run complete
**What happens.** Once keywords are added, Amadora runs each one on Google and captures a snapshot of the whole results page — your organic rank, whether an AI Overview appeared, and whether your brand was mentioned or cited in it.
Keywords are re-checked on a recurring schedule (shown in the header, e.g. *"All keywords run 3 times a week"*), so the numbers reflect a repeated sample rather than a single moment.
**Why it matters.** You don't need to do anything here — but knowing the data is sampled repeatedly explains why metrics firm up after the first couple of runs and why they shift gradually rather than spiking.
## Step 3 — Read your results
Google AI Search has two views, switched from the top-right toggle. Here's what each is for.
### The Overview — your visibility at a glance
**What it is.** The aggregate health of your whole keyword set: four headline metrics, a competitor comparison, SERP composition, and an automated insights panel.
**Why it matters.** It answers the big questions in seconds — *do we show up, does Google show an AI answer, and does that answer mention or cite us?* The four metrics form a funnel:
* **Organic Presence Rate** — how often you rank in the organic top 10.
* **AI Overview Present** — how often Google shows an AI Overview at all.
* **AIO Mention Rate** — how often the AI Overview names your brand.
* **AIO Citation Rate** — how often it cites your site as a source.
The step-down from "an AI answer appears" to "we're mentioned in it" is usually your biggest opportunity.
The **Brand visibility** table benchmarks you against competitors, and the **Gap insights & opportunities** panel turns the gaps between these surfaces into a short, prioritized to-do list (for example, *Invisible in AI Overview* or *Rank but not cited*).
> For the precise definition of each metric, the All / AIO toggle, and every gap-insight type, see the **Google AI Search — feature reference** article.
### The Keywords view — find the queries behind the numbers
**What it is.** A per-keyword table with sortable columns: **Organic Rank**, **AI Overview**, **AIO Mentioned**, and **AIO Cited**.
**Why it matters.** The Overview tells you *what* is happening; the Keywords view tells you *which queries* are responsible — so you can build a concrete work list. Sort by a column to triage; for example, surface every query where an AI Overview appears but you're not mentioned, and start there.
## Optional — Connect Google Search Console
**What it is.** A connection to your own Search Console data that brings real **clicks**, **impressions**, and **average position** alongside Amadora's AI-visibility metrics.
**Why it matters.** Google folds AI-feature traffic into its general performance numbers, so GSC alone can't tell you whether an AI Overview is costing you the click.
Pairing it with Amadora connects cause to effect — high-impression, low-CTR queries where you're *not* mentioned in the AI Overview are usually your best opportunities. This step is optional and can be added anytime; see the reference article for details.
# Generating AI Optimization Plans
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/optimization-plans
Generate a step-by-step action plan to get recommended by AI models.
Amadora AI takes the "black box" out of AI search. Instead of guessing what Large Language Models (LLMs) want, our engine reverse-engineers their replies to show you the exact criteria they use to evaluate and recommend brands.
Every recommendation we provide is based on real-time data and the specific requirements of the AI, giving you a clear, step-by-step roadmap to boost your visibility.
## 1. Create Your Optimization Plan
The first step is telling the platform which search query (prompt) you want to rank for.
* **Start a New Project:** Navigate to your **Optimization Plans** and click **Create Optimization Plan**.
* **Name and Define:** Give your project a clear name and enter the exact prompt you want to target.
* **Generate:** Once confirmed, Amadora AI takes 5–10 minutes to analyze the prompt and reverse-engineer the AI's decision-making logic.
Creating a new plan costs **100 Amadora Credits**.
**Target "Money Prompts":** Focus on high-intent queries that drive conversions, such as **"Best software for \[Your Core Feature]"**
## 2. Review the AI Evaluation Criteria
Think of the **Evaluation Criteria** tab as the AI's grading rubric. This shows you exactly what the AI looks for when deciding if a brand is a good fit for the prompt.
* **Importance Score:** See how heavily the AI weighs each factor (scored 1 to 10).
* **What the AI Looks For:** Understand the specific features, workflows, or documentation the AI is trying to verify.
* **Required Proof & Thresholds:** Discover exactly what evidence you need (e.g., *dedicated feature pages, verified G2 reviews*) and the minimum amount required for the AI to trust you.
**Meet the Minimums:** If you don't meet the minimum threshold of proof, the AI's probability of recommending you drops to near zero—no matter how high your traditional SEO authority is.
## 3. Check Your Brand Gap Analysis
The **Gap Analysis** tab compares your brand's current online presence against the AI's grading rubric. It highlights exactly what is stopping you from being recommended.
* **Review Your Scores:** Each criteria is graded out of 10.
* **Spot the Missing Signals:** The *Found Evidence* column shows what the AI successfully found about you. The *Missing Signals* column shows what the AI couldn't find.
* **Fix the Blockers:** Pay special attention to the **Top Gaps Blocking Recommendations**. These are high-severity issues (like missing schema markup or a lack of clear feature pages) that act as "trust-killers" for the AI.
## 4. Execute the Action Plan
The **Action Plan** tab turns your gaps into a prioritized to-do list for your team. This is your blueprint for optimization.
* **Tackle High Priorities First:** Start with the **P1 (Priority 1)** tasks. These have the highest impact on your visibility.
* **Use the Execution Details:** Click into any task to see exactly how to complete it. You'll get specific deliverables, including suggested page titles, URL slugs, H1s, required Schema types (like `SoftwareApplication`), and the exact evidence blocks you need to build.
## 5. Build Authority with Cited Sources
AI search engines don't just scan your website; they rely on third-party sources they trust. The **Cited Sources** tab shows you exactly where the AI is getting its information for your target prompt.
* **View Top Domains & URLs:** See the exact websites and specific pages the AI relies on most, including their citation usage percentages.
* **Target Your PR Efforts:** If your brand isn't mentioned on these top-cited domains (like specific review sites, niche blogs, or industry directories), those sites should become your #1 target for outreach, PR, and community building.
In AI Search, a mention on a highly-cited niche website is often much more valuable than a standard backlink from a high-DR site that the AI doesn't actually read.
# Setting up the Right Prompts
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/prompts-setup
Choosing and organizing the right prompts to accurately track your brand's AI visibility.
The quality of the data you get from Amadora AI depends entirely on the quality of the prompts you track. If you ask the wrong questions, you get irrelevant data.
This guide will walk you through with the “prompt types”. “prompt strategy", “prompt ideas” and eventually “how to set up in the platform”.
## Understanding Prompt Types
Before building your list, it helps to understand the four core types of prompts you can track:
* **Discovery Prompts:** Broad, high-intent queries where users describe a problem or look for tools without naming a specific brand.
* **Competitor Prompts:** Direct comparisons and "alternative to" queries where users are actively deciding between you and a rival.
* **Brand Prompts:** Direct questions about your company used to monitor your reputation, pricing accuracy, and feature clarity.
* **Audience-Specific Prompts:** Niche queries tailored to specific buyer personas, job titles, or industries (e.g., *"for enterprise teams"*).
## The Starter Strategy (7–10 Prompts)
**Best for:** New users, trial periods, or establishing a quick baseline.
Your goal right now is to understand your baseline visibility for the exact problems your product solves. Start with a focused batch of **7 to 10 prompts**, heavily prioritizing discovery:
* **3-5x High-Intent Discovery Prompts (Highest Priority):** These users have a problem but don’t know your brand name yet.
* *Example:* "Best software for \[Your Core Feature]" / "Top tools for \[Your Industry]" / "How to solve \[Specific Pain Point]."
* **2-3x Direct Competitor Prompts:** Check your positioning against your absolute biggest rival.
* *Example:* "\[Your Brand] vs \[Top Competitor]" / "Best alternatives to \[Top Competitor]."
* **2-3x Brand Reputation Prompts:** Ensure the AI isn't hallucinating your core details or pricing.
* *Example:* "What is \[Your Brand]?" / "Is \[Your Brand] legit?"
## The 30+ Prompt Growth Strategy (In-House Teams)
**Best for:** SaaS marketing teams and in-house SEOs establishing a solid GEO foundation.
We recommend a **40/40/20 split** across 30-50 prompts. This prioritizes "high intent" revenue-driving questions while keeping an eye on general discovery and brand safety.
Here is exactly how to allocate your first 30 prompts:
### 1. The “Money” Prompts (40% | 12+ Prompts)
These users are actively deciding *who* to buy from. If you aren't visible here, you are losing direct revenue. Focus heavily on comparisons and "best of" lists.
* **3x Direct Rivalry:** *"Amadora AI vs \[Competitor A]"*
* **3x "Best" Lists:** *"Top 5 GEO tools for SaaS"*
* **3x Alternatives:** *"Best alternatives to \[Market Leader]"*
* **3x Pricing Checks:** *"Is \[Competitor A] worth the price?"*
### 2. The Discovery Prompts (40% | 12+ Prompts)
These users have a problem but don’t know your brand name yet. You want your product to be the recommended solution.
* **4x How-To:** *"How to increase visibility in ChatGPT search"*
* **4x Tool Hunting:** *"Tools to track AI search rankings"*
* **4x Persona Specific:** *"Best marketing tools for B2B SEO agencies"*
### 3. The Hygiene Prompts (20% | 6+ Prompts)
Questions strictly about *you*. Ensure the AI has accurate data regarding your pricing, features, and legitimacy.
* **2x General Overview:** *"What is Amadora AI?"*
* **2x Trust & Reviews:** *"Amadora AI reviews and case studies"*
* **2x Pricing & Plans:** *"How much does Amadora AI cost for agencies?"*
## The Agency Playbook (Client Focus)
**Best for:** SEO and Marketing Agencies managing multiple clients.
If you are pitching or managing a client, your goal is to prove value quickly and highlight where they are actively losing market share to competitors.
**Shift the split to 50/30/20.**
* **50% Competitor Prompts (Heavy Focus):** Agencies must overload the `Competitors` topic. Show the client: *"Look, when buyers ask AI about \[Competitor X], you are completely left out of the conversation."* This creates immediate urgency.
* **30% Discovery Prompts:** Show them the "blue-ocean" category keywords they are missing out on.
* **20% Brand Prompts:** Keep this minimal. Unless the client has a PR crisis, they already know what their brand does. Focus the budget on competitive intelligence.
## Scaling Up (50+ Prompts)
**Best for:** Advanced users dominating their niche and capturing long-tail AI search traffic.
AI models excel at answering highly specific, long-tail queries. To capture this traffic, you should expand your tracking to **50+ prompts** by adding the following layers:
* **Feature-Specific Deep Dives:** Track specific capabilities rather than just the whole platform (e.g., *"Best AI tools specifically with white-label reporting features"*).
* **Integration Prompts:** AI frequently recommends tools based on tech-stack compatibility (e.g., *"Which GEO tools integrate directly with Slack and Notion?"*).
* **Niche Audience Modifiers:** Expand your persona prompts to hyper-specific roles (e.g., *"Best analytics tools for fractional CMOs in healthcare"*).
* **Negative/Troubleshooting Prompts:** Find out what AI says when users complain about competitors (e.g., *"Why is \[Competitor X] so slow, and what is faster?"*).
**Scaling Strategy:** Every time you release a new feature or target a new industry, immediately add 5–10 new prompts to Amadora AI to track your rollout's impact on LLMs.
## How to Brainstorm Your List
If you are stuck and don’t know what to type, use these three methods to build your list:
1. **Ask your Sales Team:** What specific questions do prospects ask on demo calls? If they ask your sales rep, “How do you compare to X?”, they are absolutely asking ChatGPT the same thing.
2. **Check Google Search Console:** Look at the questions people are already typing into Google to find your website. Convert those keywords into full, conversational sentences. *(Keyword: “Amadora pricing” → Prompt: “How much does Amadora cost and is it worth it?”)*
3. **Use "People Also Ask":** Type your main category into Google. The “People Also Ask” box shows real questions humans are asking. Copy them directly into Amadora AI.
## Step-by-Step: Adding Your Prompts to Amadora AI
Once you have your list of questions, here is how to set them up in the dashboard.
### Step 1: Create Your Topics (Folders)
Before adding questions, create folders based on the categories above so you can easily filter "Competitor" data separately from "Brand" data.
1. Go to the **Prompts & Topics** page.
2. Click **+ Add Topic**.
3. Name it clearly (e.g., `Brand Reputation,` `Competitors, `or` Discovery`).
4. Click **Create Topic**.
### Step 2: Add the Prompt
1. Click **+ Add Prompt**.
2. **Prompt Field:** Type the full, conversational question (e.g., *"What are the best alternatives to HubSpot?"*).
3. **Topic:** Select the folder you just created.
4. **Location:** This is critical. Select the country where your customers are located (e.g., *USA* or *India*).
* *Why this matters:* An AI in India might give a completely different answer than an AI in the USA due to regional data regulations and local preferences.
5. Click **Create Prompt**.
### Step 3: Review & Refine
After 24 hours, check your **Visibility Score**. ( we’d recommend to wait till 7 days to see actual trend & detailed data )
* If your score is **0%**, it means the AI doesn't know you exist for that question yet. This is an opportunity to improve your website content.
* If your score is **100%**, great job! You are the primary recommendation.
By tracking a mix of Brand, Competitor, and Problem-focused prompts, you get a complete 360-degree view of how the world sees your company through AI.
# Quickstart Guide
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/quickstart-guide
A guide to setting up, tracking and optimizing your AI visibility.
You’re likely here because you want to stop guessing what AI is saying about your brand and optimize to be cited and recommended by AI.
Right now, your customers are asking AI for advice, and you need to know if you are the answer they are getting.
In the next five minutes, we will help you turn those invisible conversations into clear data—showing you exactly when you’re mentioned, who is beating you, and how to become the top recommendation.
### **How the platform works**
The process is simple and automated:
1. **You set the questions.** You input the specific prompts your potential customers are asking on engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity.
2. **We run the tests.** Every day, our platform runs these prompts across all major AI models to capture their latest replies.
3. **We analyze the answers.** We reverse-engineer those replies to spot exactly when you are mentioned, how you are described, and which websites the AI is citing.
4. **You get the insights.** All this data flows instantly into your dashboard, giving you a clear view of your visibility, sentiment, and the specific sources you need to target.
### **Step 1: The Dashboard Overview**
When you log in, you will land on the **Overview** page. This is your main page. Don't worry about the empty graphs yet; they will populate once we add your data.
Here are the three numbers that matter most:
* **Visibility Score:** This measures your presence. It tells you the percentage of times your brand is mentioned when customers ask relevant questions (prompts you’re tracking). 100% means you show up in every single answer.
* **Share of Voice:** Share of voice compares the number of your mentions against your competitors. If this is 17%, it means the AI is talking about other brands 83% of the time.
* **Average Position:** It shows the position in AI replies where your brand was mentioned. A position of 1.0 means you are the very first recommendation the AI makes.
### **Step 2: Prompts & Topics**
AI engines rely on questions, not just keywords. To track your performance, we need to tell Amadora what your customers are asking.
1. Click on **Prompts & Topics** in the left sidebar.
2. **Create a Topic:** Think of Topics as folders. Create one called "General" for broad industry questions and one called "Competitors" for comparison queries.
3. **Add a Prompt:** Click "Add Prompt" and type a full question your customer would ask.
* *Bad Example:* "CRM software"
* *Good Example:* "What is the best CRM software for small businesses?"
* *Pro Tip:* Add at least 10 different prompts to get accurate data.
### **Step 3: Understanding the AI's Answer**
Data is useful, but seeing the actual conversation is better. You need to know *how* the AI describes you, not just if it mentions you.
1. Go to your **Prompts & Topics** list.
2. Click on any prompt you just created.
3. Scroll down to the **Executions** section.
Here, you will see the exact responses generated by engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity. You can see exactly how they described your product. Did they call you "expensive"? Did they mention your new feature? or if they ignoring you entirely?
### **Step 4: Finding Where You Are Cited**
This is the most powerful part of Amadora AI. AI doesn't just guess; it collect and parses AI replies to find answers. We tell you exactly which websites those are.
1. Click on the **Sources & Citations** tab in the sidebar.
2. Look at the **Domains or URLs** list. This shows you which websites or pages are feeding information to the AI.
3. Check the **Type** column.
* you can see site or page types in this column.
* you can click on the right corner to select specific types.
### Step 5: Generate an Optimization Plan
Now that you are tracking your visibility, it’s time to improve it. The **Optimization Plans** feature analyzes your specific prompts against the AI’s "Ideal Model" to generate a step-by-step action roadmap.
#### 1. Create a New Plan
Navigate to the **Optimization Plans** tab in the sidebar and click the **+ Create Optimization Plan** button.
#### 2. Select Your Target
In the creation modal, you will configure the plan based on the data you set up in Step 2:
* **Plan Name:** Give your plan a descriptive name (e.g., *"Q1 Feature Launch Optimization"* or *"Competitor Comparison Strategy"*).
* **Select Prompt:** Choose one of the specific prompts you previously added to your **Prompts & Topics** section. The plan will focus entirely on optimizing your visibility for this specific query.
#### 3. Generate the Plan
Click **Create Plan** to begin the analysis.
* **Cost:** Generating a deep-dive Optimization Plan uses **100 credits**.
* **Processing Time:** Because Amadora performs a real-time, multi-layer analysis of current AI search results, the plan typically takes a **few hours** to complete. You can close the window and return later.
#### 4. Review Your Action Items
Once the status shows as complete, click on your plan name to open the dashboard. You will see four powerful tools to guide your GEO strategy:
* **Ideal Model (Recommendation Rubric):** See exactly what the AI search engines are looking for (e.g., "Intent Fit," "Measurement Validity") and how they weight those factors.
* **Gaps Analysis:** A detailed breakdown of where your brand is falling short compared to the Ideal Model, graded by severity (High/Med/Low).
* **Actions:** This is your to-do list. Amadora generates a ranked list of specific tasks—from fixing site structure to publishing specific "proof signals"—prioritized by impact.
* **Sources:** View the "Query Fan-out" to understand the citations and sources the AI is currently prioritizing for your target prompt.
with the optimization plan, you can work further to get recommended by AI Models.
**What’s Next?**
You have set up everything. You will start seeing data populate on your dashboard shortly. We recommend letting the system run for the next 7 days. As it collects more data over the week, you will see much deeper insights and clearer trends in your reports.
If you have any trouble setting up, you can reach out to our support team directly through the dashboard.
# Understanding Sources & Citations
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/sources-citations
Identify which websites AI models use as sources when answering questions about your brand.
This guide explains how to navigate the **Sources & Citations** dashboard in Amadora AI. This page is your command center for understanding exactly where AI models are finding information about your brand and products.
When an AI chatbot answers a user's question, it constructs that answer using data from various websites. This dashboard identifies those websites, categorizes them, and measures how often they are used to generate answers about you.
## Visualizing Your Data
At the top of the page, you will see two charts that give you an instant snapshot of your media landscape.
### Domain Types
The "Domain Types" chart categorizes the *kinds* of websites referencing you.
* This visual breakdown helps you spot high-level patterns in your coverage.
* You can instantly see if your brand is being discussed primarily on social platforms, news outlets, technical documentation sites, or competitor blogs.
* Hover over any section of the chart to see the exact percentage contribution from that category.
### Citation Types
The "Citation Types" chart breaks down the *format* of the content where you appear.
* This distinguishes between different styles of information, such as product reviews, "best of" lists, educational guides, or forum discussions.
* Understanding these formats helps you tailor your content strategy. For example, if you see a high volume of "Reviews," you might focus on reputation management. If you see many "Listicles," you might focus on competitive positioning.
## Digging Deeper: Domains and URLs
Below the charts, you can toggle between two detailed views to explore your data.
### The Domains Tab
This view shows the "big picture." It lists the root websites where your brand appears.
* **Usage %:** Shows how heavily AI models rely on this specific domain for information about you.
* **Type Labels:** We automatically tag each domain with a category so you can quickly scan the list and understand the nature of the source.
### The URLs Tab
This view offers granular precision. Instead of just seeing the website name, you will see the exact thread or page link.
* You can see specific article titles and direct links to the content.
* This is useful for identifying high-value articles that you may want to amplify or finding specific discussions that need your attention.
### Filters
You can refine all data on this page using the filters at the top right:
* **Time:** View data for the last 7 days or custom ranges.
* **Topics:** Filter by specific themes relevant to your product.
* **Locations:** See data specific to regions (e.g., US vs. Europe).
## Key Metrics
We provide two primary metrics to measure your success. These are displayed as trend lines so you can track growth over time.
### Citation Share
**Definition:** This percentage represents your "share of voice." It calculates what percentage of all AI-generated answers in your industry cite your website as a source.
* *Why it matters:* A higher percentage means you are becoming a dominant authority in your market.
### Citation Count
**Definition:** This is the raw number of times your website was cited in AI-generated answers during the selected period.
* *Why it matters:* This measures volume. Even if your percentage share is steady, a rising count means the total conversation around your topic is growing.
## Owned Citations
At the bottom of the dashboard, you will find the **Owned Citations** section.
While the rest of the dashboard shows *external* mentions (what others say about you), this section tracks *your* direct contribution.
* It lists the specific pages from your own website (e.g., your blog posts, documentation, or landing pages) that AI models are using as facts.
* Use this to verify that AI models are reading your official documentation and latest product updates correctly.
# Topical Map: data-validated prompt list
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/topical-map
The Topical Map helps you decide which prompts and topics are worth tracking and optimizing — instead of guessing.
It builds a hierarchy of pillars → topics → prompts, prioritized by buyer intent and validated against real search data, then feeds the winning prompts into tracking.
## Before you start
The map is only as good as the business context behind it.
Make sure your project has:
* A clear description of what the business sells and who its best customers are.
* A short list of competitors and alternatives buyers actually compare you against (3 is a good number).
* Optionally, a Google Search Console connection and any manual keyword lists you want to validate against.
You don't need all of this to start — but the more context you give, the sharper and more commercial the map will be.
## The four stages
A Topical Map is built in four stages. You can move through them in order, and you can come back and re-run any stage as your context improves.
1. **Build** — generate the commercial topic hierarchy from your business context.
2. **Validate gaps** — check the map against competitors for obvious missing topics.
3. **Validate with data** — confirm topics against real search data and build keyword clusters.
4. **Track** — push the high-priority prompts into prompt tracking.
## Stage 1 — Build the commercial topical map
The map starts from a commercial context filter: a focused summary of what the business sells, its best customers, the problems they urgently want solved, the use cases that generate revenue, and the competitors buyers compare. This filter is what keeps the map commercial instead of generic.
From that context, Amadora AI generates a hierarchy:
* Pillars are written in business language — the categories the brand actually sells (e.g. "AI Search Optimization Platform", "Agency GEO Service Delivery").
* Topics under each pillar are written in search language — closer to how buyers actually phrase things (e.g. "AI visibility tracking software", "LLM SEO software").
* Prompts are the example queries a buyer would type into an AI engine under each topic.
Each topic carries three labels so you can prioritize quickly:
* Intent — BOFU (bottom of funnel) or MOFU (middle of funnel). High-intent commercial topics are favored over broad awareness topics.
* Topic type — e.g. Product / Category / BOFU, comparison, pricing, use-case.
* Priority — High / Medium / Low.
To review the generated map, open the Tree view. Each pillar expands to show its topics, each topic shows its priority badge and search volume, and each topic expands to its prompts. Click See detail on any topic to open the side panel with its keywords, volume, difficulty, CPC, and example queries.
> Tip: Use the Context view to see the exact business context the map was built on — what the brand sells, ideal customers, and competitors. If the context is off, fix it there and re-build; everything downstream depends on it.
## Stage 2 — Validate gaps against competitors
Once the first version exists, this stage checks it for obvious missing commercial topics — without rewriting what you already have.
It compares your map against your business model and your competitors' commercial topics, then answers five questions:
1. Are any obvious commercial pillars missing?
2. Are any obvious BOFU/MOFU topics missing under existing pillars?
3. Are any buyer-intent query patterns missing?
4. Are any competitor-covered commercial topics absent from the map?
5. Are any AI-search or PPC trigger topics missing?
This stage is deliberately conservative: it suggests additions only, it doesn't remove, downgrade, or restructure your existing topics. Competitors fill gaps — they don't define the strategy. Review the suggested additions and accept the ones that fit.
You can run this stage by clicking Enrich map, which expands the map with missing commercial topics based on your context and competitors.
## Stage 3 — Validate with real-world data
This is where strategic topics become evidence-backed keyword clusters. The map is validated against three data sources:
* Google Search Console — confirms which topics you already get impressions and clicks for.
* Competitor keyword research — confirms which topics competitors rank and bid on.
* Manual keyword lists — your own keywords, if you have them.
For each topic, this stage confirms:
* Does this topic exist in real search data?
* Are people using similar language?
* Is it commercially relevant?
* Can we form a real keyword cluster around it?
* Should it stay High / Medium / Low priority?
The result is visible in two places:
* Topic detail panel — open any topic and see its keyword table with Volume, Difficulty, and CPC per keyword, plus the total volume for the topic and a set of example queries. The Source icon shows where each keyword came from.
* Keywords view — every keyword across the whole map, grouped into clusters with a volume total per cluster (e.g. "AI visibility tracking software — 3,330", "best AI visibility tools — 2,430"). This is the fastest way to size opportunity across the map.
Use these numbers to confirm or adjust each topic's priority before you commit to tracking.
## Stage 4 — Track the winning prompts
The whole point of the map is to decide what to track. Once topics are validated, push the high-priority prompts into prompt tracking so you monitor AI visibility for the queries that were proven to matter.
In the Tree view, each pillar and topic shows how many prompts it contains, and the header shows how many are currently tracked. Add prompts to a topic with +Add prompt, add a new topic with +Add topic, and the prompts you select flow into your tracked set.
From there, Amadora monitors those prompts across AI engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and AI Overviews — the same prompts that your map proved are tied to real buyer demand.
## Exporting the map
Click Export CSV (top right) to download the full map — pillars, topics, prompts, intent, priority, and keyword data — for your own reporting, client decks, or planning.
# Tracking your Competitors
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/tracking-competitors
How to add and monitor competitors to compare your brand's performance.
Amadora AI tracks how Generative Engines (like ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini) perceive your brand compared to others in your industry.
By marking specific companies as competitors, you tell our system to constantly compare your metrics against theirs. This allows you to spot gaps in your content strategy and identifying where you are losing market share.
## Accessing the Competitor Dashboard
Navigate to the **Competitors** tab in the main sidebar. This screen displays a list of brands relevant to your industry, automatically sorted by their current performance metrics.
### How to Add a Competitor
You can add competitors from the suggested list or search for specific companies manually.
1. **Using the Suggested List**
The dashboard pre-populates a list of brands that frequently appear in the same AI search queries as your company.
* Scan the list for known rivals.
* To track a brand, click the **Mark as competitor** button on the far right of the row.
* Once clicked, it’ll give a purple **Competitor** badge. This confirms the brand is now being tracked in your reports.
2. **Searching by Name or URL**
If a specific competitor is not in the top suggestions:
* Use the search bar at the top labeled "Search by name or URL..."
* Type the brand name or their website domain.
* Click **Mark as competitor** next to the correct result to add them to your watchlist.
### Understanding Competitor Metrics
The Competitors table provides four key data points to help you evaluate the strength of a rival. Here is what each column means:
* **Avg Position:** The average rank where this brand appears in AI-generated lists or answers. A lower number is better (e.g., a position of 1.0 means they are often the first recommendation).
* **Visibility Score:** A percentage that represents how likely this brand is to be cited or recommended by AI engines for relevant queries. A higher percentage indicates stronger AI presence.
* **Share of Voice:** The percentage of the total conversation or market space this brand occupies. If a brand has a high Share of Voice, AI engines talk about them more frequently than anyone else.
* **Mentions:** The raw count of distinct times the brand was cited in the analyzed timeframe.
### Managing Your Watchlist
You should only track competitors that directly impact your market share.
* **To Remove a Competitor:** Click the purple **Remove** button on the far right of the row. It will revert to the **Mark as competitor** state, and the system will stop using that brand for your comparative benchmarks.
* **Recommendation:** Focus on 3 to 5 direct competitors. Tracking too many brands can dilute your data and make it harder to identify actionable trends.
# Welcome to Amadora AI
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/getting-started/welcome-amadora-ai
Turn invisible AI conversations into clear visibility data and actionable optimization tasks.
Welcome to **Amadora AI**. Right now, your customers are asking ChatGPT which product to buy, using Perplexity to compare solutions, and getting recommendations from Google AI Overviews.
These conversations are happening without you knowing whether your brand is part of them.
**Amadora AI helps you stop guessing what AI says about your brand and start optimizing to be the answer customers receive.**
### **What you'll find in these docs**
* **Get started:** Here, we’ll guide you through setting up your first prompts, tracking competitors, and understanding the three core metrics that drive AI search performance.
* **Set up your project:** Learn how to identify the prompts your customers actually use, organize them with tags, and understand how sources and citations influence AI responses.
* **Understanding your metrics:** We break down exactly what Visibility Score, Share of Voice, and Average Position mean for your business so you can spot trends and see where you stand against competitors.
* **Take action:** Turn your data into a prioritized list of specific tasks using Optimization Plans. Instead of wondering what to do next, you’ll get clear recommendations like which websites to target for mentions and what content needs updating.
### **What Amadora AI does**
We reverse-engineer AI responses to show you exactly when your brand appears, how you're being described, and which websites AI platforms are pulling information from.
Here's what we track:
* **Visibility Score** measures how often your brand gets mentioned when AI answers questions in your industry. If your visibility is 45%, it means you appear in 45% of the AI responses we're tracking for you. Higher is better.
* **Share of Voice** compares your mentions against competitors. If you have 20% share of voice, it means competitors are getting mentioned 80% of the time. This tells you how much of the conversation you're capturing.
* **Average Position** shows where you typically rank in AI responses when you do get mentioned. Position 1.0 means you're the first brand mentioned. Lower is better.
* **Sources and Citations** are the foundation of everything. These are the actual websites, articles, reviews, and pages that AI platforms reference when they talk about your industry.
* **Actions** turn your optimization data into a prioritized, step-by-step to-do list. Instead of guessing your next move, you receive specific tasks—like updating existing content, filling content gaps, or fixing missing information—that directly improve your AI visibility.
### **How Amadora AI works**
Everyday, we run your prompts across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. We capture the responses, analyze them, and update your dashboard automatically.
We use **UI scraping technology** to collect data. Instead of using backend APIs, we interact with AI platforms exactly like a real person would—opening the interface, entering questions, and reading responses. We're simulating thousands of actual user sessions to capture authentic data.
This matters because API responses often differ from what real users see. By using the same interface your customers use, you get the real story.
### **Why UI scraping gives you better data**
Most analytics tools use APIs because they're simpler. We chose UI scraping because it's more accurate.
**The problem with APIs:**
* **Modified responses** – What you get from an API often doesn't match what shows up in the actual interface
* **Limited availability** – Many platforms don't offer APIs, or they restrict access to key data
* **Frequent changes** – When platforms update their APIs, tools break until developers catch up
**How UI scraping solves this:**
* **Authentic data** – We automate real browser sessions that behave exactly like a person using ChatGPT or Perplexity
* **Complete coverage** – We can track any platform with a web interface, regardless of API availability
* **Future-proof** – As long as the web interface works, our tracking works
### **How Amadora AI helps improve visibility**
Amadora AI gives you three things: clear data about where you stand, comparison metrics against competitors, and the specific sources you need to target.
**Track your performance over time.** Your dashboard shows visibility trends, position changes, and sentiment shifts. You can filter by date range, specific prompts, or individual AI platforms.
**Benchmark against competitors.** See exactly who else appears in AI responses for your prompts, how often they're mentioned, and where they rank compared to you.
**Find your optimization targets.** The Sources and Citations section shows you every website, article, and page that AI platforms reference when answering questions in your industry.
**Get clear next steps.** Generate Optimization Plans that analyze your data and give you a specific, prioritized Action list. You will receive specific tasks to complete—like which publications to pitch, what content gaps to fill, or where to update existing mentions—completely removing the guesswork from AI search optimization.
### **Who should use Amadora AI**
**SEO agencies and consultants** use Amadora AI to add AI search optimization to their service offerings. You can manage multiple clients, track different brands, generate reports, and show concrete ROI from visibility improvements.
**Marketing teams at SaaS and tech companies** use Amadora AI to understand how their product appears in AI-powered search. You can monitor brand mentions, track sentiment, and identify content opportunities that actually impact how AI recommends your solution.
**Growth teams and product marketers** use Amadora AI to stay ahead of search behavior changes. As more buying decisions start with AI instead of Google, you'll have the data you need to adapt your strategy and capture that demand.
Whether you're optimizing one brand or managing dozens of clients, Amadora AI gives you the visibility data and insights you need to succeed in AI search.
# GSC Integration
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/gsc-integration
Amadora shows you how you're doing in AI search. Connect **Google Search Console (GSC)** and the AI Agent can also see how you're doing in *traditional* Google search — and, more importantly, do the analysis for you.
Instead of exporting thousands of rows and building pivot tables, you just ask the Agent a question. Behind the scenes it pulls large samples from GSC (tens of thousands of rows), filters out the noise, ranks what matters, and hands you a clean, ready-to-act answer. You get insight, not a data dump.
This article covers what the integration unlocks, how to connect it, and each of the 7 built-in GSC skills in detail — with example prompts you can copy and adapt.
## Why connect GSC
**One place for both sides of search.** Your AI visibility (Amadora) and your organic Google performance (GSC) live side by side, so the Agent can connect the dots between them.
**The analysis is done for you.** The Agent doesn't just fetch raw GSC data. For each question it computes the deltas, builds the CTR curves, scores the conflicts, and ranks the winners — server-side. You get the conclusion and the evidence behind it, not a spreadsheet to wrangle.
**It answers real questions, fast.** "Is traffic up or down?" "What dropped?" "Where are we leaving clicks on the table?" "Are these pages indexed?" — all answered in plain language, backed by your own data.
## How to connect Google Search Console
1. In your project, go to **Brand Settings → Connections**.
2. Find **Google Search Console** and connect your Google account.
3. Select the **property** (site) you want to analyze — for example, `yourdomain.com`.
That's it. Once connected, the Agent can pull GSC data on demand. If GSC isn't connected, the Agent will simply prompt you to connect it rather than guessing.
**A couple of things worth knowing:**
* **Reporting window.** By default the Agent looks at the last **28 days**, compared against the equal prior period, with a **3-day lag** (GSC data is always delayed by a few days).
* **You get evidence, not exports.** The Agent processes large GSC samples but only surfaces ranked, relevant rows — this keeps answers fast, focused, and accurate.
## The 7 GSC skills
Each skill answers a specific kind of question. You don't need to name the skill — just ask naturally, and the Agent picks the right one.
### 1. Performance overview — "How is organic doing?"
A site-wide pulse check on your organic search. The Agent pulls aggregate KPIs — clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position — for the current period and the prior one, computes the period-over-period change, and builds a trend line. It's the fastest way to see whether things are moving up or down overall (no query- or page-level breakdown — site totals only).
**Use it when you want to know:**
* *"How is our organic traffic doing?"*
* *"Are clicks and impressions up or down this month?"*
* *"Give me a GSC overview for the last 28 days and tell me what changed."*
### 2. Movers — "What exactly grew or dropped?"
When the overview shows a change, this tells you *what caused it*. The Agent compares your queries (or pages) across both periods, filters out low-impression noise, and computes an **impact score** for each — how strongly that shift moved your results. You get a ranked list of your biggest winners and losers, not the whole catalog.
**Use it when you want to know:**
* *"Which queries gained the most clicks this month?"*
* *"Which pages dropped the most, and by how much?"*
* *"Show me the top winners and losers for the last period."*
Default is the top 25 movers (up to 100).
### 3. CTR opportunities — "Where are we leaving clicks on the table?"
Finds queries or pages that **rank reasonably well but under-click** — usually a title or snippet problem you can fix. The clever part: the Agent builds an **expected CTR curve from your own site's data** (not a generic industry benchmark), compares your actual CTR against it, estimates the missed clicks, and ranks the biggest opportunities. If there isn't enough data to build a reliable curve, it tells you instead of inventing a number.
**Use it when you want to know:**
* *"Where is my CTR below what's expected for the position?"*
* *"Which queries in positions 4–20 are missing clicks?"*
* *"Where are my biggest missed-click opportunities?"*
### 4. Cannibalization — "Are my own pages competing?"
Finds queries where **multiple pages on your site compete** with each other in search results — splitting the same keyword and weakening your ranking. The Agent groups page×query pairs, keeps only queries where two or more pages have meaningful impressions, and scores each conflict (more impressions + a more even split across URLs = higher conflict), with up to 5 example URLs per conflict.
**Use it when you want to know:**
* *"Where do I have keyword cannibalization?"*
* *"Which queries have multiple competing URLs?"*
* *"Which pages are splitting the same keyword?"*
### 5. Entity details — "Break down this one query or page"
A focused drill-down into a **single** query or page. The Agent loads its KPIs for the current and prior periods plus the delta, and returns a related list: for a query, the pages that show up for it; for a page, the queries that drive traffic to it. Perfect for investigating one thing in depth without pulling the whole site.
**Use it when you want to know:**
* *"How is the query 'crm software' performing?"*
* *"Which queries drive traffic to my /pricing page?"*
* *"Break down this page in more detail."*
Related entities are sorted by clicks and capped at 25 by default.
### 6. URL inspection — "Are these pages indexed?"
Checks the **indexing status** of specific URLs in Google (using the URL Inspection API). Give the Agent a list of URLs and it classifies each one — indexed, discovered but not indexed, crawled but not indexed, blocked, or error — and returns totals by status. It surfaces the *problem* URLs with reasons, so you immediately see what needs fixing rather than scrolling past the pages that are fine.
**Use it when you want to know:**
* *"Are these pages indexed?"* (paste your URLs)
* *"Why isn't this URL indexed?"*
* *"Check the indexing status of my main landing pages."*
Accepts up to 20 URLs by default (hard cap 50).
### 7. Full report — "Give me the whole picture"
One call that combines four skills into a single composite organic report: **site-wide overview + top winners and losers + CTR opportunities + cannibalization conflicts.** It uses the same analyzers as the dedicated skills but shares the underlying data fetches, so it stays fast and predictable. This is the one to reach for when you want the complete state of organic search in a single, shareable brief.
**Use it when you want to know:**
* *"Give me a full GSC report."*
* *"In short — how is organic doing: growth, drops, CTR, and URL conflicts?"*
Each section is capped at 25 rows by default.
## Putting it together
The real power comes from combining GSC with your Amadora visibility data. Because the Agent sees both, you can ask questions that bridge the two worlds:
* *"Compare my AI visibility with my organic Google performance — where are the biggest gaps?"*
* *"Which topics am I winning in AI search but losing in organic Google, and vice versa?"*
* *"Build me a monthly search report covering both AI visibility and GSC, with recommended next steps."*

# Meet Amadora AI Agent
Source: https://docs.amadora.ai/meet-amadora-ai-agent
The AI Agent is your on-demand analyst inside Amadora. It sits right on top of all your project data, understands what you're trying to achieve, and does the heavy lifting — pulling numbers, spotting patterns, reorganizing prompts, and turning it all into ready-to-use reports and documents. Instead of clicking through dashboards and exporting spreadsheets, you just ask.
It's powered by the latest **ChatGPT 5.6** model, so it reasons well, follows multi-step instructions, and writes cleanly.
## What makes it useful
**It knows your whole project.** The Agent has direct access to all your Amadora entities — your topical map, optimization plans, prompts, citations, data sources, visibility metrics, and more. It can pull this data, analyze it, and act on it without you exporting anything.
**It can reach into Google Search Console.** If you've connected GSC, the Agent gains 7 purpose-built skills for organic search analysis — traffic overviews, winners and losers, CTR opportunities, keyword cannibalization, indexing checks, and full composite reports. (More on this below; a dedicated article covers each skill in depth.)
**It produces real deliverables.** The Agent doesn't just answer in chat. It can generate files, documents, reports, and lists you can download and share — custom action plans, prompt sets, visibility summaries, and more.
## What you can do with it
Here are the three things people reach for the Agent for most — with example prompts you can copy, paste, and adapt.
### 1. Extract your data and build custom reports, plans, and lists
Turn your raw Amadora data into something you can actually act on. Ask the Agent to slice your visibility metrics, summarize citations, or draft an action plan, and it'll hand you a clean document.
Try prompts like:
* *"Pull my visibility metrics for the last 30 days and build a summary report I can share with my team."*
* *"Create a prioritized action plan based on my current optimization plan."*
* *"Give me a list of every prompt where a competitor is cited but we're not."*
* *"Export my top-cited sources into a clean list with the topics they appear under."*
### 2. Generate, set up, and reorganize prompts
Managing prompts by hand is slow. The Agent can create new prompts, structure them, and reorganize what's already in your project so your coverage stays clean and comprehensive.
Try prompts like:
* *"Generate 15 new prompts covering gaps in my current topical map."*
* *"Review my existing prompts and group them by topic — flag any duplicates."*
* *"Suggest prompts that target buyer-intent questions for my product."*
### 3. Reveal insights from your visibility and Google Search Console data
This is where the Agent shines. It combines what's happening in AI search (your Amadora visibility) with what's happening in traditional Google search (GSC) to surface insights you'd otherwise miss.
Try prompts like:
* *"Show me my organic search overview and tell me what's driving the change."*
* *"Which queries are ranking on page 2 but under-performing on clicks? Where should I focus?"*
* *"Are any of my pages competing with each other for the same keyword?"*
* *"Compare my AI visibility with my organic search performance — where are the biggest gaps?"*
## The Google Search Console skills (quick overview)
Once GSC is connected, the Agent can answer organic-search questions using 7 built-in skills:
1. **Performance overview** — a site-wide pulse check on clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position, with period-over-period trends.
2. **Movers** — exactly which queries or pages gained or dropped the most, ranked by impact.
3. **CTR opportunities** — pages that rank reasonably well but under-click, where a better title or snippet could win clicks.
4. **Cannibalization** — queries where several of your own pages compete against each other.
5. **Entity details** — a deep drill-down into a single query or page and what it's related to.
6. **URL inspection** — indexing status for specific URLs, flagging what's not indexed and why.
7. **Full report** — a one-shot composite covering overview, winners/losers, CTR gaps, and cannibalization together.
A separate article covers each of these skills in detail.
## How to get started
**Open the Agent.** The **Agent** tab is in the top-left corner of your project. Switch to it and start typing your question — no setup required.
**Connect Google Search Console (optional but recommended).** To unlock the organic-search skills, go to **Brand Settings → Connections** and connect your Google Search Console account, then select your property. Once connected, the Agent can pull your GSC data on demand.
## A note on cost
Each reply is billed in credits based on how much work it takes — the complexity of the task, how many tools the Agent uses, and how long the conversation has grown. A quick question can cost as little as **0.1 credit**, while a deep, multi-tool analysis may run to several credits per reply. Simple asks stay cheap; heavier analysis costs a bit more.

The best way to understand the Agent is to try it. Open the Agent tab, ask it something you'd normally dig through dashboards for, and see what it hands back.
